The emergence and continuance of the pandemic has required us all to make many decisions. All of the TEDxWestshore speakers were asked to make a decision recently. Did they want to hold off on their talk until 2021 or participate in the 2020 event in a virtual way? Their responses have shaped the 2020 TEDxWestshore experience you will have.
TEDxWestshore will be going virtual! While we all wanted another outcome, the safety of our speakers and attendees is the utmost priority.
Tickets for the virtual event are available here:
What is TEDx?
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxWestshore, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxWestshore event, TED Talks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
This independent TEDx event is operated under license from TED.
